With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Ruben A. Flores Jr., who departed this life on July 31, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 48.
Born on September 3, 1977, in Boston, Massachusetts, Pito was the beloved son of Ruben A. Flores Sr. and Maria Lopes Flores, who survive him and will forever cherish his memory. Throughout his life, Pito was known for his determination, independent spirit, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. As an entrepreneur, he dedicated himself to building his own path through hard work, perseverance, and resilience, taking great pride in the work he accomplished.
Above all else, Pito treasured his family. He was a devoted father whose greatest joy came from spending time with his children and watching them grow. His love, guidance, and presence will forever remain in their hearts. He leaves behind his beloved children, Devina, Ruben, Giorgio, and Mathew, along with his three cherished grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness into his life.
In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is lovingly remembered by his devoted parents, Ruben A. Flores Sr., and Maria Lopes Flores, as well as a host of loving relatives, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness, laughter, and generous spirit. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Pito's life during Viewing Services on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 10, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. Following the Mass, Ruben will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the love Pito shared, the lives he touched, and the legacy he leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to be a source of strength, comfort, and love for all who knew and loved him.
