She was born in Fogo, Cabo Verde to Balbina Gomes DePina.
Maria was a loving mother, grand mother, aunt, and friend to many.
She leaves her children, grand children, other relatives and friends to cherish her memories.
Maria was the wife to the late Domingos Lopes.
