Manuel DaSilva

Manuel DaSilva was born on February 1, 1931 in Fogo, Cabo Verde to Alvaro DaSilva and Maria Centeio Silva. Manuel was known to his loved ones as Nelinho. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 11, 2020 in his home in Boston, MA. Nelinho was a loving husband to his wife, Dinora Spinola da Silva. He was an exemplary attentive father to  Bebeto, Maria, Antonieta, José, Dalila, Teresa, Etelvina, Cristiano, Manuel, Erkys, and Goreth DaSilva.  Nelinho leaves 45 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren, 4 siblings, Catarina, Edith, Valdomiro, Bebeto, and Dalila. He also left a host of nieces and nephews and friends whom will cherish his memories. 

He will be missed and he will be forever in our hearts. 

Visitatation with the family will take place on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 5-8 pm at the St. Peter’s Parish  located at 311  Bowdoin Street Dorchester, MA 02122. 

The funeral Mass will be on Saturday at 10 am from the church.
