Jose Meireles

It is with great sadness that the family of Jose João Meireles (Peu) 41, of Boston, Massachusetts share the news of his passing.

Jose passed away tragically on June 19th  2022.
He was born in Santiago, Cape Verde to Maria Santos (Fatima) and Jose Meireles Gomes (Txochi). He was a kind and loving father to his son Jonathan Meireles. 

Jose was known for his infectious personality and compassionate spirit. He touched many people’s lives over the course of his life. 

Aside from being survived by his mother and son, Jose also leaves behind his siblings and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A life cut short. He will be sorely missed.

Visitation services for Jose will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5:00-8:00pm at the St. Patrick’s Church 400 Dudley St Roxbury Ma .

The funeral mass will be  Saturday, 10am  June 25, 2022 also from St. Patricks Church 400 Dudley Street. Roxbury, MA  

Following  the funeral mass will be internment at New Calvary Cemetery.
