Joaquina (Dias) Monteiro

Jaoquina Monteiro passed Jan 13, 2020 in Brockton, MA surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fogo, Cabo Verde she leaves to cherish in her memories her devoted husband Jeronimo Monteiro and their children. Paula, Paulo, Celestina, Pedro, Manuel, Antonio, Antonia, Maria Jose, Benvinda, Benvindo, Socorro and Joaquin. She was predeceased by three children Paulina, Joao Emilio and Aldino. 

She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends to remember her life.

Wake will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 6-9 PM at the George Lopes Funeral Home 647 Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10 AM from St Edith Stein Church, 71 E. Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.

Burial will follow to Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.

immediatly following burial family will be receiving friends and guests back at St. Edith Stein Parish lower hall.
