Ernesto Abreu

 The beloved Ernesto Barros Abreu, originally from Fogo, Cape Verde, passed away on March 25, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Son of the late Manuel Pina Abreu and Laura de Barros, both of Cape Verde.

He is the loving father of Eliseu, Neusa, Maria (Keila), Jaqueline, Elisangela, Admilson, Larisa, Isa and Laurinda.

He also leaves 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and host of other relatives and friends.

Due to the current pandemic with COVID-19, and the restrictions issued by our State Governmen, we ask that you please be conscious of the capacity limit that has been set forth. Note that all viewing and celebration of life services will be limited to the allowed number of visitors at any one given time. Also we ask that all physical condolences to the family not be displayed at the viewing, funeral services and/or cemetery sites.

Private Services with family will be held at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Interment will follow funeral service to Melrose Cemetery, N. Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02302.

In lieu of attending services, family will be accepting floral bequest and all your thoughtful prayers and well wishes. Thank you for understanding.
