Enahm Anthony Oscar-Phoenix

With profound sorrow and enduring love, we honor the life of Enahm Oscar-Phoenix, a young man defined by extraordinary kindness, quiet strength, and a lifelong commitment to helping others. He touched every life he entered with warmth, humility, and compassion. His presence was a gift, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void.

Born on October 26, 2000, Enahm was the beloved son of Joanna Oscar-Phoenix and Wadsworth Phoenix. He was a cherished brother to Leah Oscar-Phoenix, Chloe Oscar-Phoenix, and Isaiah Phoenix; a treasured grandson to Wilda Abbott-Bigby and Wilfred Phoenix, and to his deceased grandparents, Nancy Moses and Ulysses Oscar; and a dearly loved nephew to a host of aunts and uncles. He also leaves behind many relatives and countless friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.

From an early age, Enahm stood out for his curiosity, intelligence, and natural ability to understand the world around him. These qualities carried him through life and ultimately led him to Brown University, where he was an excellent and dedicated student. He pursued his education with determination, intellectual curiosity, and a strong commitment to excellence. Intelligent, humble, and soft-spoken, he carried a quiet confidence that drew people to him. His gentle demeanor, warm heart, and genuine concern for others made him someone people naturally trusted and deeply admired.

While excelling academically, Enahm also nurtured a powerful entrepreneurial spirit. He was an entrepreneur at heart—creative, ambitious, and deeply motivated by a desire to make a meaningful difference in the world. He dreamed of building and creating things that would improve lives and contribute to a happier, better future for others. He approached every idea with imagination and purpose, always seeking ways to use his talents to serve something greater than himself.

That same creativity and determination showed in everything he did. Gifted with his hands, Enahm had an exceptional ability to build, repair, and create just about anything he set his mind to. Whether solving a problem, lending a helping hand, or taking on a new challenge, he approached every task with patience, skill, and quiet determination. He had a natural gift for turning ideas into reality and for finding solutions where others saw obstacles.

Enahm also expressed his love through one of his greatest joys—cooking. An outstanding cook, he found happiness in preparing meals that brought family and friends together. Through the food he so thoughtfully created, he shared warmth, generosity, and care. Every meal he made was more than nourishment; it was an expression of love and connection that brought people closer together.

Beyond his talents and accomplishments, Enahm also had a deep love for music. He was a self-taught musician who learned to play instruments on his own, guided by passion, curiosity, and natural talent. Music was one of the ways he expressed himself most freely, and he found joy in creating melodies that reflected his spirit. He also loved to sing, and his voice carried the same warmth and sincerity that defined who he was.

One of Enahm’s most unforgettable qualities was his radiant smile, made even more memorable by his charming dimples. His smile had a way of brightening any room and putting others at ease. Those who knew him will remember not only his abilities, but also his kindness, humility, generosity, compassion, and quiet strength.

The saying, “To know him was to love him,” truly captures the essence of Enahm’s life. He never sought recognition for the good he did; instead, he lived each day with compassion, integrity, and a servant’s heart. He gave freely of himself, always willing to help, always thinking of others, and always striving to make a positive difference in the lives he touched.

His life, though far too brief, was filled with purpose and meaning. Enahm dreamed of creating a better world and happier people, and even in his time here, he planted seeds of love, hope, and inspiration that will continue to grow in the hearts of those who knew him.

Enahm’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy of love, service, kindness, creativity, and compassion will continue through his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
