Emma Ricks was born on August 8, 1946 to Taft Ricks and Ella Mae Johnson in Layton, Alabama. She passed away on June 17, 2022 in Milton, MA.

She is predeceased by her parents, son, Lacarr M. Ricks, and siblings, Curtis, Ben, Pauline, and Anderson Ricks. She leaves behind her children Darnell E., Jimmy L., and Kashka A. Ricks, 11 grandchildren, and her sister, Constella Ricks-Turner. Emma also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Services for Emma Ricks are entrusted to the George Lopes Funeral Home and will be posted soon.
