Shirley Donnette (Washington) Bennett

Bennett, Shirley Donnette (Washington), of Lynn, Massachusetts passed peacefully at home on October 6, 2019.

Daughter to the late Frederick D. Washington and Shirley F. Washington. She leaves her beloved husband of thirty years US Airforce Veteran David O. Bennett.

She was a loving mother to Ronnie Washington, Winston Bennett, Melissa Bennett, David Bennett Jr and Virginia Phillips. She was also a loving grandmother.

Caring sister to Torleah Washington, Stewart Washington and Cecelia Webbe. She was predeceased by her brother Frederick D. Washington, Jr. 

To cherish her memories she also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation with family will be Friday, October 18, 2019 from 11-12 noon at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.

Celebration of Life Service will start at 12 noon also from the funeral home. Interment will follow to Mt. Hope Cemetery, Walk Hill Street, Mattapan, MA 02126.
