Richard William Bembery, Sr

Army Veteran Richard William Bembery, Sr., passed peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. 

He was the loving son to the late Jacques C. Bembery and the late Vera (Scottron) Bembery. 

He leaves his beloved former wife Donna Bembery-Rivera and his dear children Vera Marie Bembery, Leo Britton (wife Marcia), Richard "Richy" William Bembery Jr., (fiance Melody), Richelle Fernandes (husband Cisco), Ronda Bembery, Rebeca Bembery-Rainey (husband Eric) and Paige Stewart. 

He was blessed to have twenty one grand children, one on the way and three great grand children. He also leaves his devoted brother and care taker Robert Bembery, his caring sister Marie Dias and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. 

Visitation with family will be Friday, June 21, 2019 from 6-9 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.

Second Visitation will be on Saturday, June 22 at 10 AM. Funeral Mass will start at 11 AM also from the funeral home. 

Interment will follow to Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.
