Pearlie Mae Hubbard-Turner, known by all as Pearl, was born on December 10, 1943 in Tuskegee, Alabama. She is the oldest of five children to the late Wilmer and Daisy Mae (Julkes) Hubbard.
In 1965, at the young age of 21, Pearl relocated to Boston, MA. In the early 1970's, she began working for Raytheon Company as an assembler and retired after 40 years of service. In addition to working at Raytheon, Pearl worked several holiday seasons for the United States Postal Service.
Pearl loved spending time with her family. She attended many family reunions and planned family outings at her home. Traveling, church events, and watching game shows were just a few of the things she loved doing during her spare time. Pearl had a sweet spirit and always leaned on God rather than her own understanding. She always saw good in people and maintained a positive attitude.
Pearl leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Perry Turner; their children: Jason Turner, Lawanda Black, Bruce Hubbard, Tashima Turner Price, Mario Turner, Linda Woodard and Clinnell Guilfield; twelve grandchildren: Janaya, Jada, Zhane, Adriana, Cherise, Bruce Jr.(BJ), Ashley, Terry, Kristi, Nikki, Maurice and Felicia; six great-grandchildren, one brother, Johnnie Hubbard (Rosie), two sisters, Rose Sanders and Annie Bell Frazier (Willie), a sister-in-law, Alberta Hill, a brother-in-law, Simon Turner, Sr., one god-child Stephanie Wrenn Edwards, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
