Mary Barros

Mary “Meren” Barros, passed away April 2, 2019. Mary was born June 12, 1919 in Falmouth, MA and she was the daughter of the late Manuel Lopes Barrows and Rosa Garcia Barrows. She has been a long time resident of Brockton

She is survived by 2 sons Pedro Dos Santos and Manuel Barros; 4 daughters Luiza Lopes, Teolinda Barros, Ernestina Barros and Rita Barros; 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Dominga, Daniel Dos Santos and Michael A. Barros and sister of the late Nicolao Mendes, Pinina Mendes, Frank Barrows, Sr., Maggie Barrows and her twin Antone Barrows.

Mary will be loved and dearly missed by all.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2-6 PM in the George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 9:00 AM in St. Edith Stein Church in Brockton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
