Maria Teixeira

Teixeira, Maria originally from the beautiful city of Fogo, Cape Verde, passed peacefully on May 15, 2019 at home in Boston, Massachusetts surrounded by her loving family. 

She was the beloved mother to Maria Eugenia, Neneta, Lucindo, Nenezinha, Lixinha, Toty, Djica, Tchino, Luty, Gilda, Isa and Telo.

She also leaves grand children, great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish her memories. 

Predeceased by her husband Antero Teixeira and her parents Ceitiano Andrade and Telca Rosa of Cabo Verde. 

Visitation with family on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 5-9 PM at St. Patrick Parish, 400 Dudley Street, Roxbury, MA 02119.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, May 17, 2019 at 10 AM also from St. Patrick Parish. Interment will follow to New Calvary Cemetery, Harvard Street, Mattapan, MA.
