Joao R Soares

Soares, Joao R., originally from Fogo, Cabo Verde, passed peacefully on June 3, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. 

He leaves his beloved wife Maria N. Soares. His children Maria Fatima "TATA" Soares, Elizabeth Soares, Soloman Soares, Santos Soares, Maria Rodrigues, Silvino Saores, Joao David Soares, Virgilio Pereira, Joao Domingo Soares, Manuela Soares, Rosalina Soares, Elsa Soares, Balbina Soares, Nina Soares and predeceased by Joazenho Soares. 

Blessed to have thirty five grandchildren and six great grand children. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends. 

Visitation with family on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 6-9 at St. Patrick Church, 400 Dudley Street, Roxbury, MA 02119.

Funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10 AM also from the church. Interment will follow to New Calvary Cemetery, Harvard Street, Mattapan, MA 02126.
