Fernandes, Joao of Brockton passed on September 30, 2017. Born to the late Joaquin and Palmira both of Cabo Verde. 

He leaves his beloved wife Margarida and children Antonio, Felipe, Maria DeLourdes, Joao Paulo, Elizabeth and Flavio Fernandes. 

He was blessed to have fifteen grand children and 1 great grand child. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation with family on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5-9 PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. 

Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 9 AM from St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 E. Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. 

Interment will follow to Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St, Brockton, MA 02301.
