Hemingway, James Madison, originally from Marion, So. Carolina, passed peacefully on August 2, 2017. He leaves his beloved wife Virginia Campbell Hemingway. 

Loving father to Charlene Haymon, Rachel Hemingway, James Hemingway, Douglas Edward Campbell, Margaret Campbell, Christopher Hemingway, Veronica Hemingway, Claudia Campbell, Valerie Hemingway, Sharon Campbell Hardy, Roseline Campbell, Nichole Campbell and Valerie Campbell. 

He was blessed to have twenty five grand children and he leaves a host of great grands, great great grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation with family will be Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 10-11 AM at New Hope Baptist Church, 1450 River Street, Hyde Park, MA 02136. Celebration of Life Service will start at 11 AM also from the church. 

Interment following services to Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427, Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA.
