Alberto M. Monteiro, Jr. known to everyone as AJ, entered the heavenly gates on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Boston, Massachusetts.

He was born on August 24, 1996 in Boston, Massachusetts. The beloved son to Arminda Baptista and Alberto M Monteiro. 

He attended Boston schools and graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in 2014, where he was a dual sport athlete in basketball and football. He was currently enrolled at Regis College majoring in Business Management. 

AJ was a loving and caring individual who enjoyed his life thoroughly and fully. A young man who was scratching the surface of his full potential. He will be missed, but never forgotten. 

Alberto is survived by his parents Arminda Baptista and Alberto Monteiro; his step father Lino Cabral, brother Ayden Cabral and sister Armani Monteiro. He also leaves his grandparents Antonia (Neta) Baptista, Jose Baptista and Alice & Manuel Monteiro. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins. other relatives and friends.   

Visitation (waking hours) will be on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 3-6 PM at St. Peter Parish, 311 Bowdoin Street, Dorchester, MA 02125.

Funeral Mass will be on Monday, September 11, 2017 starting at 10 AM also from St. Peter Parish. 

Interment following the mass to New Calvary Cemetery, Walk Hill Street, Mattapan, MA 02126. Immediately following the burial please join the family at St. Patricks Church, 400 Dudley Street, Roxbury, MA 02119 for the celebration of AJs life.
