Buckmire, Nevritte affectionately known to everyone as Navie, of Boston passed on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Milton, MA surrounded by her loving family. 

Beloved daughter to Julien and Yasmin (Ms. Carol) Buckmire of Trinidad and Tobago, she also leaves her step father Eddie Gilmer. 

She was a loving mother and leaves her four daughters Danajah, Destiny, Geonnie and Cariyah. Her brothers and sisters Akua, Jamal, Quamel, Juleisha and Quaneisha. She leaves a host of nieces and nephews, Azaree, Jahri, Amara, Elijah and Gabrielle to name a few. 

Navie was loved by everyone she came in contact with. To cherish her dear memories she also leaves her paternal grand parents Wilfred and Estella Buckmire, maternal grand parents Henry and Chilon Behamy. Her aunts Shakila (Savatri), Shuma, Omega, Junette, Joanne, Judy, Jennifer and Jocelyn, her uncles Roger and Rodney along with other relatives and friends. 

Visitation with family on Friday, February 24th from 6-9pm at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.

Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, February 25th starting at 11 AM from United Emmanuel Holiness Church, 65 Windsor Street, Roxbury, MA 02119. There will be an hour visitation starting at 10AM also from the church. 

Interment to follow to Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.
