Barbosa, Julio Gomes originally from St. Catarina, Cabo Verde, passed on October 11, 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts. Loving son to the late Francisco Gomes and the late Maria Barbosa. 

He leaves his children Helena Barbosa Lopes, Carlos Alberto Gomes Barbosa, Julio E. Barbosa, Maria Julia Alves, Emanuel Barbosa and Maria Jesus Barbosa. He was blessed to have thirty grandchildren. He also leaves a host of other family and friends.

Predeceased by his beloved daughter Maria d'Fatima Barbosa.

Visitation with family will be on Thursday, October 13th from 6-9PM at St. Patrick Church, 400 Dudley Street, Roxbury, MA 02119. 

Funeral Mass will be on Friday, October 14, at 10AM also from St. Patrick Church. Interment to follow to New Calvary Cemetery, Harvard Street, Mattapan, MA.
